Aeroseal Duct Sealing Results

Once the Aeroseal air duct sealing is complete, the technician will again measure the duct system leakage.
A sealing certificate and a tightness certification are generated by the computer. The sealing certificate shows duct leakage amounts before and after sealing, as well as a graph of the sealing process, plus an overall heating or cooling capacity improvement. The tightness certification, affixed to your duct system, shows the tightness of the duct system after completion of the sealing process.
Aeroseal can reduce duct leakage by up to 90% and save a typical homeowner up to $1000 a year in energy costs and a typical building up to 30% of HVAC energy use.
Aeroseal Facts
Some homeowners have saved up to 40% of their energy bills after having the Aeroseal air duct sealing system seal their central air duct system. A typical homeowner should expect to see measurable reduction in energy use for heating and cooling.
Did You Know?
The Aeroseal process won the “Best of What’s New” award from Popular Science magazine, and the “Energy 100″ award from the Department of Energy (DOE).
Aeroseal Facts
The Department Of Energy also rated the Aeroseal duct sealing process as one of the 23 most beneficial technologies available to American consumers that has come out since the agency was created.
Did You Know?
The US Department of Energy (DOE) states that energy wasted from leaky residential ducts alone is equivalent to the energy burned by 13 million cars a year.
